		<description>Well, the economy is the biggest issue in the Presidential campaign here in the US right now. Americans understand there are problems, but, as you eloquently point out, I&#039;m not sure the majority grasp the scope of the problems.

I am American and I feel like the majority of the nation still lives in their small towns, driving their gas-guzzling cars and chowing down on their greasy fast food (I&#039;m an East Coast elitist, I apologize). Worse yet, we&#039;re being led by a President with that mentality!

I&#039;d be interested in hearing your thoughts on what the US can do, if anything, to stem and reverse its financial crisis.</description>
