Free thinkers will sometimes "been seen" to follow the herd and sometimes "be seen" to move in contrarian directions. On the issue of politics it can be great fun to seed a few good ideas and see them develop.... that is stirring the pot. I don't personally view voting to be a waste of time in Australia, athought a few well placed emails can be worth more than many thousands of votes.
