Get skilled people, don't spend too much time on this infectious web site..sorry Dan, a couple of hours a day is prob good therapy though.

"2009 is shaping up to be a year in which governments pull out all the stops to keep the wheels of commerce greased and rolling..."

This is the CONTINGENCY PLAN ?

And in 2010 the plan is ?

Well, PLAN C: HEAD FOR THE HILLS and listen to the final collapse of modern civilization on one of those hand crank powered radios actually seems like the rational choice.

Ok Dan I went the above "New Middle Ages or a new Dark Age" web site and it is fairly pessimistic stuff but I think plausible. Yes I have no worries admitting Global chaos theory is in full swing, but the rule you need to apply is a counter option to the possible bad scenario. Challenges purported or otherwise can be faced with guts and determination - its called contingency.

Anyway I replied to the web site with the event of the US brokering the take over of Aus by China viz Global sovereignty V Aus sovereignty ~ contingency? We can start to prevent this (possibility) by embracing nanotechnology where Aus would reinforce its currency and independence with high energy/materials ratio per capita, in a world where the cost of labour becomes irrelevant, and large populous military defences becomes redundant.

The Rudd Govt are sooo inexperienced they are on the back foot and letting Aus run its self or rather the PS spivs. The 190K immigration program plus the large bulk of ex-pats (about 700K) returning to Aus should be the most inept planning of any Govt on the planet. Talk about the unseen elephant in the kitchen, a one term Govt and the opposition is not much better.
