		<description>Good article. As electricity prices go up (due to carbon pricing) the electricity prices will rise and Australia will increase the sales price for export commodities.
Olympic Dam will use gas fired power plant. Where it gets the gas (40 PJpa for 700 MW) is the question. PNG was the first option. Delivered coal would not compete with delivered gas even without carbon pricing.

One could deliver electricity via a DC line but Olympic Dam and most isolated mines require 100% redundancy of generation.</description>
