Really, really hope you are right and they don't bring back deleveraging as a way to strenghten treasury inflows. The FED with the Plunge Protection Team "PPT" has lot's of ammo for this. By the way the PPT is name straight out of 1984. The Ministry of Peace organises the war and the Ministry of Love runs the GESTAPO or Homeland Security and PPT co-ordinates the short selling plunges that are used to prop up the dollar. What a world we live in.

On the positive side, if this can be called positive, 6% of morgages are in default as a result of unemployment by the mortgagees deleveraging would throw more workers onto the streets and the result would be catastrophic for the mortgage bond holders. This might hold back the FED from using deleveraging as a currency tool and risking a Kondatiev winter of debt deflation.

Good article.

Time will show that this is the beginning to the end of central banks as they exist today.

The world is trying to cure its hangover with another drink.
