		<description>Who&#039;d have bet the US Congress would refuse the Santa Claus suit and reject the peurile scare tactics: &quot;Give us the Wall St welfare package or the boogey man &#039;ll getcha, and yer superannuation fund &#039;ll be toast!&quot; Maybe there is some hope for US capitalism, if the Congress stand firm, and the country can then start down the long hard road to some sort of recovery.</description>
