Just one frinstance, ask the Americans about the Gull oil field. More oil there than Saudi Arabia ever had apparently and it is so far untouched. Not to mention shale oil of which the reserves are just about as great. Incidentally, oil is not a fossil fuel it is 'cold' pressed from the magma in the centre of the planet.
