It&#039;s worth remembering what goes on behind the gloss in these new-rich cities - and sparing a thought for those upon whose back they are built, and on whose back obese, consumerist America was built. Are the governments of UAE likely to pass on any of their good luck? If the US falls, will working conditions in China, India, UAE etc. improve? I some how don&#039;t think any of these countries (apart from possibly India) have a genuine desire to start at the bottom any time soon.</description>
