Agree that this article is very good. Link to it, circulate it to your friends - that's the best way to "broadcast" it...

An article like this will NEVER appear in the corporate-owned mainstream media. They're too reliant on advertising from (guess who?) the financial services and real estate industries.

There's a reason the mainstream media is obssessed with "celebrity" and sports news, barely scratching the surface of relevant news that actually affects the population. They start looking at causes and POOF goes their advertising revenue.

Ok so we are all doom and gloom. You seem to forget that in the end there is a real house, build with real resources, and like it or not they have real value.

Just as the feds forgot that in the end you need things to buy, your forgetting that in the end there are real assets, real people and real economic activity, and part of the activity is a real financial markets.

The funny thing is Fannie Mae was set up by the US government to deal with the last true failure of the global credit markets; a failure brought about by the private sector.

This time around the financial markets will only fail if people like you win. And once again it will be the government sector that will have to pull the private sector out of the shit, because the private sector investors have gold stuck under their bed, scared of their shadow.

I personal hope the government privatize banks at seriously deep discounts and then re-floats them later at huge profits. It's what short term investors deserve.

Wow. Bravo. That was one of the most comprehensive, truthful, easy to understand for the falcodore driving lumpen and let's face it, confronting, article I have seen for a long time. Well done David. I only wish it were possible for this to somehow appear on news.com.au or better still Today Tonight, to wake some people up.
