Very informative article. A good over-all view of the state in our country. Unfortunately. Crime is honestly the initiator of most of the chaos that keeps re-enacting itself on a daily basis -

Lack of security causes fear, causes those who carry the largest potential to change the countries state to run, causes a crisis in the professional areas, causes a problem with Eskom, causing a problem with electricity, causing a problem with business profit, leading to a lack of income, an increase of food prices, and ultimately an increase of crime to compensate.

And the whole process seems so fearfully inevitable. We ask ourselves how the criminals in this country can be so inhumane? I ask myself -What kills their humanity and enhances a brutal desperation for survival-
Fear. Powerlessness. Revenge.

We have more than an economic crisis on our hands. But a social, psychological one. And its rotting our minds, and ultimately our unity, our country.

A well written and very educational aricle. May I, as a South African Commercial farmer, send my congratulations to Mr. Denning for this insightful writing.

Expensive food is going to drive "wage slaves" into hungry and angry cells of discontent. Was this not how the French Revolution exploded?

Our food is certainly cheap by international standards, but basic food is well on its way to doubling in price.

How are the poor going to eat?

Regards
