Sundance Film Festival

And finally, we leave you with a note from The 5 Min. Forecast ’s Addison Wiggin, reporting
from the Sundance Film Festival:

“During one of our screenings at the Prospector Square Theatre here in Park City, we had the
pleasure of talking with Mary Milliken, Reuters L.A. Bureau chief. She understood our project to a
T... ‘I.O.U.S.A. , based on the book Empire of Debt ,’ she then wrote in an article about the movie,
‘may be to the U.S. economy what An Inconvenient Truth was to the environment. The Oscar-
winning documentary premiered two years ago at Sundance, the top venue for independent film
and documentaries.

“‘In An Inconvenient Truth , former Vice President Al Gore offered his touring slideshow on global
warming and made a compelling case for people to push their politicians to pass legislation to help
clean the environment.’”

  1. congrats bill for getting an 'in' at sundance.

never saw or read 'inconvenient truth'. who's al bore anyway? and what the bloody *bleep* is government going to do about global warming ?

can we all get a walk in beer cooler to live in, compliments of some tax rebate program ?

anyway i have some tennis dates with some sleazy salesman this coming springtime. and don't take the patriots in the coming superbowl, the pointspread has a betting bias, nothing to do with the mother of all superbowls about to unleash, irrationality, fevour, and a hellish pitch of screaming and cheering unprecidented in the 21st century.

btw, if your headed to cannes, france for the upcoming film festival. the indie release: "W", is punting for an award.

not sure if it's going onto berlin before the upcoming general release date ! does your town have a drive-in theatre?

in this day of digital domains, music is free, placement is the key..............
