Gold is Money

Gold’s recent breach of the symbolic US$1,000 level has elicited a predictable amount of commentary from mainstream analysts. The problem is, much of it is ill-informed.

Debt to GDP Ratio Will Return to Normal

He writes that, “During the credit boom, from 1995 to 2007, the debt-to-GDP ratio rose quite a lot, to all-time record levels, eclipsing the 1920s by considerable margins.

Where Do the Feds Get Any Money?

They have to borrow it…or print it. There’s a big difference between federal borrowing and private borrowing. When the private sector borrows the risk is that people won’t be able to pay back their loans.

The Destruction of the Dollar by the Federal Reserve

Then, on the “quiet 23rd of December in 1913″, J.P. Morgan and buddies got Congressional quislings to pass legislation authorizing the creation of the Federal Reserve, and to which I add that the jerk Woodrow Wilson then signed it…

Surely Gold Will Trade at One Times the Dow

“It is about five years since I first read the DR and agreed with your recommended ‘trade of the decade.’ At that time it was clear to anyone who saw the busts of 1974, 1991 and 2001 that the next one was imminent…

Modern Economic Theory

The Economist magazine, also predictably and inevitably, does not comment on this Gem Of Mogambo Economic Wisdom (GOMEW), which is to buy gold, silver and oil on the advice of the last 4,500 continuous years of the world’s economic history…

Gold and Silver!

“Oh, you haven’t gotten around to buying any gold or silver yet? Let me quote Rudyard Kipling, from his poem ‘Gunga Din.’ You need to ‘put some juldee in it.’ Quick! Go and get some precious metals! Don’t make me say I told you so, because I will.

Should You Put Gold Into Your IRA?

You can make the same tax-deductible contribution each year to a gold IRA as with any other IRA. The current limit is $5,000, or a “catch-up” limit of $6,000 for those 50 and over. Custodians generally set their minimum initial investment at that $5,000 mark but will accept smaller subsequent contributions.

“Why a mining executive told me to F*** Off
in front of a whole room of investors”
Dr. Alex Cowie doesn’t have the most popular of jobs. At least – not inside the mining industry. For his readers, it’s another matter entirely.

As Laurence says: “I have never bought a stock and got a 100% return before … thanks for providing the information for me to have that experience – and all within two months too!”
