Wrongly, you write:

"Yesterday alone Aussie investors lost $110 billion in the biggest one-day drop since 1989".

That $110 billion did not disappear.

Aussie "investors" did not lose.

Some sold at the peak of the game and walked away with $110 billion extra, with the House (the Exchange and Brokers -- the Casino) pocketing its take.

Other suckers, who gamble at Stock Exchange casinos, lost to better players and as always, to the House.

Simply, you do not understand how Stock Exchange Casinos and Stock Exchange GAMBLING works.

i read the post last night, slept on it, got up, thought about it some more, just took a walk.

came back with some old topological maps from the files across the street.

well, it's time to start planning some real real estate investments. gee, no point in paying for the $20k engineering study. not that i'm pretty good with a transit, a rod, and a chain. but well that's paperwork.

anyway, if any of you city slicks downunder in sydney or melbourne could do me a favour? which is: pass a message up north to my tribe: Tinnenburra.
