I saw a talking head appear on CNBC a half hour ago say that Commodities (except gold) were a good buy right now. Basically the talking head said we are not in an inflationary environment… yes I heard it right… I just cleaned out the wax in my ears prior to that comment.

What I want to say is that I believe the Mogambo Guru (MG) when he says increased money supply ultimately increases inflation.

Now, let’s pretend it is a few months (or year(s) in the future) and the market started to acknowledge MG’s inflation, could all commodities (oil, gas, industrial metals) increase in price while gold and/or silver did not?

Do you think it is possible that the banking gods will continue to suppress gold’s/silver’s value and divert it to increase the prices of the stuff that I cannot carry around in my jeans?
