Dear XXXX XXXXXX,

Thank you for your email dated 02/02/2009 regarding Webmail.

We have recently made changes to the new WebMail system which we hope will
speed up your online experience. The problem you are experiencing now is a
known issue and have been escalated to the level 2 department. The technical
support team are currently working on it and we expect to have the issue
resolved as soon as possible. We do not have the exact time frame on when
the upgrade would be completed. For the meantime, please use this link to
access WebMail http://webmail.bigpond.com/webedge/do/oldlogin.

Also, it is important that if you use WebMail to access your emails, you
maintain your folders on the server. Moving emails in any folder within

your Deleted Items and Spam folder.

Please log into WebMail and delete any large or unwanted emails from the
folders within WebMail.

If you are unsure of how to access WebMail for your BigPond ADSL account,
please go to:

https://webedge.bigpond.com/webedge/

* enter your username in the username box,
* enter the associated password,
* click Login.

Once you have logged in, simply go through each folder and place a tick in
the boxes corresponding to any emails you do require, and then click Delete.
Please ensure that you empty your Deleted Items before you exit.

If you have further inquiries you may reply to this email or you may contact
our ADSL Technical Support team on 133 933.

There are other web sites that want money for valuable advice that is given by DR for free – the most valuable of all is the feed back we all enjoy as a result of the freedom of speech. There is a quick & easy way to get around the Bigpond & Optus email blocking debacle of The Daily Reckoning Australia.

Join a Webb based email account (Yahoo – GMail – Hotmail) etc, this will by pass Bigpond & Optus problems.

If you use GMail you can configure your Email program to have GMail deliver the DR direct to your Inbox, to save having to go to Webb Mail.

I trust this is of some assistance to the readers of this great publication.

Keep up the great reporting, your satirical comments are a great relief in todays economic climate.
