Great article, Bill. I think I need some answers to what happens if this goes the way you expect: hyper-inflation. For instance:

What happens during hyper inflation to my income? I have a fairly secure job. I pay my house payment every month. But what do I do or what can I expect from my employer, a very large institution, during hyper inflation, when a gallon of milk costs $50 and a loaf of bread $45, about 20 times what I pay now, let's say?

Can I expect my income to rise enough that I can continue to pay for my house and eat?

What happened in Zimbabwe, Argentina, and Weimar? Both good and bad, I'd like to know.

What about people on a fixed retirement income?

And what's the antidote to hyper inflation? How will I know my gov't is doing what will fix the problem?

Any suggestions would be helpful. I'll even read your books!

Thanks for the great columns, and where do you find time to run Agora?
